Don't hesitate to call these guys! They are thorough, fair, and efficient. They came out the same day I called them for water damage from a roof leak into two stories of my drywall to see what was going on, and finished getting the wet insulation and dry wall out the next day. They will handle your insurance claim as well. They made the process so easy and straightforward. Anthony is very knowledgeable, and available to answer any questions you have, from repairs to how to correctly fill out your insurance claim. You can tell the team is super driven and motivated to get their work done well.

I cannot say enough GREAT things about Chicago Water & Fire Restoration (CWF - owner Dave). Most specifically about/regarding Anthony Mueller - Senior Project Manager; and his team, Shondell and Jeremiah. Tim, my plumber from Tim's Quality Plumbing, gave me this referral (he is also wonderful). It is the best thing that could have happened in the midst of a water emergency: suddenly having water in the floor of my master closet and partially into my master bedroom. I received a call back immediately upon reaching out for help; and I was kept up to date every step of the way. Any time I needed to reach out, I was taken care of with return calls and updates. They even called to notify me of their arrival time/when to expect them on the days of the appointments. Anthony came out right away to assess the problem. Anthony is professional, knowledgeable, thorough, invested, kind and caring. I had a medical condition needing intervention at the same time and Anthony and his team understood, were supportive and entirely accommodating at every turn. Anthony explained everything at each stage and truly took care of my situation from beginning to end. He also went above and beyond in coming out for a final look and taking care of a few items and finishing up the project. He understood my concerns, my anxiety and any questions I had. Anthony also outlined what the next steps will be regarding the restoration portion and how insurance plays into it as well. The team of Shondell and Jeremiah were scheduled to come out quickly and remediated the problem. They were professional and respectful and informed me of all they were doing and how things would proceed. They installed the equipment left to "clean" and remedy the situation (and this too was kept in place per need+). I felt like a had a partner throughout this entire happening.I felt heard and understood the whole time and not alone. This has been, unfortunately, the 2nd plumbing emergency in a 5yr time span that faulty plumbing has flooded and ruined my beautiful finished basement. This 2nd time around, I had no hesitation to immediately call up CWF Restoration after the plumber left. Oscar was out to my house on a Sunday night by 11pm when the emergency happened to start the inspection for his crew the following day. He got everything he needed in about 15min, made sure to ease my mind that they would be in communication with my Homeowners Insurance for estimates, repairs, etc and I wouldn't have to worry about any of it. He was able to work around my hectic schedule the following day and his crew came the following day. Since I had a lot going on in the morning amd afternoon, he asked the crew to come at 3pm. They stayed until 11:30pm and were able to rip up all the carpet and cut out all the drywall, clean up every bit of debris, carefully moved and wrapped/protected my belongings, set up all the fans and dehumidifiers, then scheduled an addition fan to come again the following morning PLUS an electrician to temporarily install a separate breaker for my house to handle all of their equipment. It was alarming fast and efficient. I was getting an appropriate amount of communication in person and even got a follow-up call the next day to see how everything went. I'm not even 48hrs out from when the damage started and they are already ensuring it's on track to move quick and get my living space back. All of this around the holidays too! I love these guys, I can highly recommend them! And that is speaking from experience because I received the same amazing service from them 5yrs ago when a different pipe burst in my ceiling and they did mitigation and recon then as well.

While it is early in the process of returning to normal and much is yet to be done I feel special thanks go out to Jeremy and David for the service they provided me during the recent water damage event in my condo unit. They decided to return to finish their work on Christmas Eve and came early to finish so I could attend a family function. They were very professional and kept me informed of their activities. They made an otherwise disastrous event, at least bearable.

We had a water leak in our ceiling from the unit above us that a plumber couldn’t figure out. We called CWF Restoration and they (Tim) were out within 1-2 hours to inspect the job and to assign a crew to come out the next day. The crew, Ramiro and Carlos, were fantastic. Very thorough and professional. Stayed late to finish and did a tremendous job with removal and clean up as well as staging and sealing off the area to dry it out. We highly recommend!

Professional and prompt! Sunday, freezing outside but these guys came out to mitigate our water damage. The team worked all day to complete the first part of the process, demolition and drying. I will absolutely use them to complete the repairs once everything has dried out. Very responsive and respectful of their customers.

We used CWF for the second time in our lives to remediate after a water leak this week. Jesse and Matthew were kind, professional, thorough, and tidy from the moment they stepped into our chaos- completely unfazed. CFW did a great job with installing the dehumidifiers and fans in our house. Shondell and Jeremiah worked non stop for 7 hrs and had such a a great attitude.

CWF Restoration did a fantastic job fixing our home after an HVAC related leak caused water damage to our upstairs floors and the rooms below it. They worked fast, they were professional, friendly with my kids and family. They showed up on time, worked hard long days to complete this as quickly as possible. Everything was expertly scheduled via our Project Manager (Piotr), and the timeline ensured something was being done just about every minute (as paint was drying, they were on to the next thing, when they finished it, second coat of paint went up, things like that). I cannot say enough about the quality work their teams did in a short time! I would highly recommend this business for anyone who needs remediation and restoration work. While I hope we never have another issue like this one, if it were to happen again, I know who to call right away! Edgar J and Anthony were great. Edgar was here for our initial mitigation services last week and paid attention to detail, left the areas of the house as clean as possible and was very personable. When removing the equipment today, the team was prompt, attentive, and willing to answer any questions I had about the next steps in the process.

Connor and Brandon D. made the cleanup of our water main break a breeze. Our offices were flooded with water and dirt. they cleaned up everything, removed all of the damaged/wet materials, and made sure to use lots of fans and dehumidifiers to dry the whole place up. Chicago Fire and Water was exceptional! A few months ago, we had a sewer backup as well as extensive flooding on our main floor and basement. Chicago Fire and Water arrived the same day to begin the remediation. They were thorough, efficient, and effective. Moreover, the real star of the show arrived when they began the reconstruction: Piotr Matczuk, the Project Manager. Piotr was a pleasure to work with – professional, accommodating, reliable, and knowledgeable. Throughout the entire project, Piotr had excellent follow-through, always showing up to make sure that the work was on track. This was particularly important because we were out of town during much of the construction. Piotr made sure that the work was done properly and that our home was respected while we were away. He stayed on top of every detail, never dropping any balls or leaving any loose ends. In addition, he always responded quickly to any of our questions or requests. And when there was a minor issue that a sub-contractor needed to correct, Piotr represented the integrity of Chicago Fire and Water, completely standing behind the issue and insisting on its correction. Also, Eric, Alex, and the rest of the crew did an excellent job! I highly recommend Chicago Fire and Water.

We had Edgar J and Edgar M come out to work at our home today after extensive water damage from our water heater. They were absolute professionals. They were extremely respectful, diligent and took the time to answer all of our questions. They were extremely helpful and gave us the reassurance that we were in good hands. They did an excellent job in pulling up the floor, cleaning up the debris and the floor, bringing in drying fans, and picking up after the job was done. They are absolutely great at what they do, and you can count on them. Highly recommended.

From the start to the picking up of equipment your crews were efficient & professional. Team Shonda’s//William were great to tape up some safety areas of the floors. The Emergency response team starting on 6/5 worked their butts off getting all the water, Furniture, ceiling tiles, kitchen floors pulled up in a safety manor. Their communication & what we could expect going forward was positive. I appreciate the Project Mgr. Victor that as I had questions he handled it with no more than what was being handled at the time. We are looking forward to the Restoration depending what contractor choices are. We are looking forward to that phase.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. We came home at midnight after 10 days on the road to a busted water heater pipe and a flooded house. The next morning I called my plumber as instructed by homeowners insurance, who recommended CWF Restoration for the water and mold mitigation. I live in a pretty rural area, we are acclimated to long service times, but they were on my door in 60 minutes and had a crew onsite doing demo in 90 minutes. That already is wildly impressive! Did I mention its also a holiday weekend? And they still showed up lightning fast and with a smile. Josh was the "project manager" who did initial assessment of the damage, and since he was here when my insurance adjuster called, he even took the phone from me and spoke to them directly to make sure they could coordinate for a quick disbursement of funds. He is knowledgeable, professional, and has been available by text 24/7 for all the smallest questions I have (although I did promise not to text at 2am). Julian and Christian were on the demo team. You don't realize how much stuff you have in your house until EVERYTHING has to be moved. These guys worked their ass off until 11pm when I requested they go home to rest, and were back at 9am the next day to continue. They had to move SO MUCH STUFF. The flooring in 80% of our home had to be removed, so everything had to come out, including pieces of the sheet rock and full walls from the moisture damage. We have indoor dogs, large and small, and the guys were wonderful working around the dogs, stopping to pet them, and help shuffle them from room to room. Before they left, they vacuumed and swept the entire house to make the project as clean as possible, even though the house itself is in disarray. Even when removing the materials, they taped up flooring in bundles and put them in the box truck, so there wasn't an unsightly dump truck or dumpster in the driveway. They say how you do one thing is how you do everything, and I'm convinced CWF Restoration, especially Josh, Christian and Julian will take the best care of your home in the event of disaster. I cannot recommend them enough. My house is still drying, so I will come back and update how the reconstruction process goes!

Gil, Jesse D, Andre are a fantastic water mitigation team! We had an overflow from the unit next door and they were extremely professional, hard working & personable especially Gil (team lead)!! They cleaned up in the spaces they were working in and very mindful of our living areas after they moved appliances & cabinets around which we truly appreciate. I highly recommend this team! CWF was here a few hours after a pipe burst. CWF has been able to guide us through this very traumatic event. Cole Hagstrom is our project manager and he has been great to work with. He's knowledgeable, responsive, and most importantly...his calm approach to the situation has reduced our stress levels. Gill and his partner came to demo and set up the scrubbers the very next day. They were respectful and went above and beyond to make sure we could continue to live in the home comfortably during the drying process. Will provide an update on the reconstruction side of things but fully expect this level of service will carry over.

While CWF didn't totally meet the my expectation, but their customer service has been very strong. They follow all the safety and industry standards. They would offer fair and reasonable solution if necessary. So certainly recommending CWF. While everyone's home and situation are different, CWF really cares about feedback from their customers and will try their very best to make sure to meet very customer's expectation. They have a quick response time and will address all concerns from customers to make sure customer gets complete satisfaction.

CWF came recommended by Restore Plumbing and they did a fantastic job. They were quick to arrive onsite prepared to get to work right away. Tim M, the Project Manager, was transparent and thorough in his assessment. He was also very professional. The remediation was done by Edgar M and Ramiro, the unsung heroes doing all the grunt work. They worked quickly and provided a safe, clean environment. Pleased with the process so far.

We had a great experience with CWF (Chicago Water Fire) Restoration. They handled both the water damage mitigation and the insulation/drywall repairs for our home, and everything looks fantastic now. What really stood out was how communicative, helpful, and understanding the entire team was—especially as we waited quite a while for our neighbor’s insurance to come through. They were patient and professional throughout the process, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. Everyone we interacted with was great, but I want to give a special shout-out to Ryan, Nate, Laura, Quinten, Manny, Nereida, and Jonathan. We had water flood our crawl space, most likely as a delayed reaction from a recent water main break in the area. I was referred to CWF by my plumbing company. Glad i went with them they came out the next day and the two technicians Edgar M, and Edgar J, were professional and did the Job quickly and completely. Recently experienced a flood at my house that caused damage to my bathroom and the ceiling of the living space beneath the bathroom. CWF was extremely responsive with same day support. Crew arrived promptly and on-time to begin the water remediation work. The crew was effecient and took precautions to care for parts of the home that were unaffected by the water damage. Nate and Jeremy were especially careful and did a great job. While the restoration process is still underway, I am very satisfied to this point with the work of CWF.

CWF Restoration helped us remediate a room in our basement that had water damage and was covered in mold! Cole (the PM) was extremely helpful, responsive and polite. His crew came out to do the work same day… we were very impressed. The crew was professional and courteous. Thanks to Shondell and William for a great job! We have a one-year old son and feel completely at ease now. Yes, the service might be expensive but their pricing seemed fair. That’s what you get for owning a house. Jesse Duran and Jorge Rivera came to my house for follow up on water mitigation and stood out as the most professional and thorough crew that had to do additional mitigation work.They cleaned the entire work space, which included vacuuming, washing and than mopping of all areas the worked/walked on. Jesse provided clear and concise answers to all of my questions/concerns. Also, our mitigation project manager Connor McElfresh has been incredible throughout this entire process. He has answered all of my calls and proactively provided updates around all the steps/action items to ensure we understand the process from end-to-end. It’s unfortunate to need water remediation services, but I truly appreciate the professionalism and prompt help from Green Water and Fire with my recent pump back-up. Ive used CWF restoration in the past for my home and using them again for my parent’s home but never worked with Shondell and William, however they were professional and courteous just like everyone I have worked with before. Just shows the consistency of employees they have. They explained everything clearly and were fast, yet thorough. They really know what they are doing which puts my mind at ease considering the annoyance of all the damage my parent’s just went through in their home.

The response time for this company was superb. Called them and same day a rep (Connor) came and assessed the situation. The following day, the mitigation phase started and cleaned up the sewer damaged and set up and the machines to sanitized and dry the water seepage. All participants did their job professionally. I noticed a brown discoloration on my ceiling and suspected a roof leak, so I called CWF Restoration for help. They scheduled a free inspection the very next day! Victor arrived on time, was incredibly personable, and thoroughly inspected the area. He assured me there was no water present, so no repairs were needed. Not only did he not charge me, but he also recommended a reliable roofer to check things out in the spring in case of a small drip. He even took the extra time to check my shower pan, which my neighbors had issues with, but thankfully mine was fine. Fast, professional, and gave me peace of mind—all at no cost. Highly recommend!

After water damage in my condo , my plumber recommended CWAF. Their office called me to set up a free estimate. The project manager Nate came out within a short period of time and performed an inspection and documented the damages while explaining the process of the cleanup. We had a crew out the next morning and they did the photos and proceeded to get the cleanup started. They took out the soaked carpeting, padding , baseboards, drywall etc. They bagged all the materials and disposed of such. Then brought in the numerous blowers , air scrubber, dehumidifier. The team was the best when we had a sewage mess in the basement. Mike Taylor was recommended by our plumber from ABC, he was so quick and thorough with information of how he could help us. He explained all our options and really made us comfortable working with the company to help fix our issue. Even the crew, Keithan Bond and Andre Parker, who placed and picked up the equipment were so kind and careful with the pickup. They made sure the job was completed and equipment was removed safely so my house had no dings on the wall. Amazing people we dealt with and so happy with the service after the stressful sewage situation we had in the basement. 100% would recommend!

We had amazing service from CWF restoration services. They came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. Frankie & Jordan were awesome! I had a pipe that busted in a wall and damaged the inside of 3 walls. They came out, cleaned and explained everything thru the entire process. They are definitely masters at cleaning and sanitizing. I was amazed at the difference the area between the walls looked before they set up all the equipment to dry it out. Alex T was the project manager who coordinated the cleaning up of the main line sewer break at my house. He came out at 1:30 on the morning to assess the job and sent a great crew -Ramiro N, Jesse D and William C. They worked several hours to clean up, haul away contaminated items and sanitize my home. We had a GREAT experience with Chicago Water & Fire. When we called about our water damage, someone came out within 90 minutes (maybe less) to get the process started. They communicated very well throughout the process. Most of the time, I got a live person when I called but, if I needed to leave a voicemail, they returned the call promptly. They worked with our insurance which saved me a lot of hassle, working to get a reasonable settlement from insurance that returned things to the pre-water damage state. The crews (one for remediation, one for restoration) showed up when they said they would and worked professionally. They cleaned everything up and went above and beyond. Work was completed to my full satisfaction. Highly recommend.

The customer service and professionalism of this company is incredible. Calling to make the appointment was quick and easy. The scheduler asked all the right answers and did it with care. I called and a technician was at my door in two hours. I didn’t even have an emergency and told her to schedule me whenever they could fit me in. I can only imagine how quick it would be if it was an emergency repair. Once they arrived, the technician Jake and Victor were great! Professional, thorough, and personable. Thankfully, the gave me great news in that it was not a water leak. But they still double checked to make sure there were no issues. I’ve already recommended them to two of my neighbors. Jerry and Tommy did a solid job. Had to remove part of my shower and wall due to water leakage and some mold. They came on short notice. Had great communication, were quick, and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Nate and Tim did great scoping out the job beforehand and recognizing what needed to be done.

We had a hidden water leak that caused damage to four rooms in our home. Our water mitigation crew did an outstanding job, were very courteous and professional; kept the work area clean; and made certain we were well educated on the process. I had a major mold issue in my kitchen, but couldn't determine where it was coming from. I called CWFR and they sent Eric M, project manager out quickly to asses the situation. He gave me an estimate right away and explained that he would work with my insurance company since I had coverage for such an event. I scheduled a remediation team to come a couple of days later and the problem was worse than expected, but Jesse D and Ramiro N worked incredibly hard to remove my cabinets and drywall, explaining everything as they pulled everything out. All 3 representatives of this company were professional, courteous, mindful and positive to work with. Under such stressful times it's important to deal with the best. I plan to contract the restoration with them because I feel it will turn out perfectly.

Water heater tank cracked leaked many gallons of water onto ground floor family room carpeted floor and baseboards. . Fast response - on-site within 2 hours of initial contact. Project manager (Eric) was knowledgeable and equipped with hi-tech gear for determining the level of water damage. Remediation crew (Kaylin & Marques) arrive mid-afternoon and got directly to work using the info provided by the project manager. They quickly relocated all the furniture to the garage and completed the initial remediation work within 90 minutes. Both were very courteous and made sure we understood the work that had been completed and what to expect going forward. We couldn’t be more pleased.

My team of Nate, Kaylin and Marques provided impeccable service when we found out that we had a leak in our wall. Nate was the primary person that I spoke with - it was for our rental unit and we live out of state. Nate sent me tons of pictures of the damage, took all the time in the world to explain to me what was happening and how he was remedying. Edgar and Edgar (yep, they make it easy to remember their names!) came out when we had water damage from a leaking pipe. They were super patient (the plumbers were still fixing the pipe when they arrived) and waited an hour. Then they were very neat and clean and did a great job setting up all the fans and dehumidifiers. I would definitely recommend them again!

I had damage to my ceiling caused by a water leak from my upstairs neighbor’s apartment. Chicago Water and Fire helped me through the hurdles of drying out the moisture, preventing mold, and navigating the insurance claim. They sent someone out immediately to assess the damage, and sent a crew a couple of hours later start the process, all on the same day I called. I worked with Yuri of the mitigation department, and Stephanie of the restoration department, and both were very responsive and helpful anytime I had questions. I highly recommend this company.

My sump pump failed and my basement flooded a few days ago and my plumber recommended CWF for assistance to clean up the water damage. Alex Tracy arrived at my house the same day I called and he was very professional, took the time to listen to my concerns about what happened to my basement and provided professional feedback on next steps. They did a good job cleaning my crawlspace that had been soiled with some sewage backup from broken pipes. Raul was friendly and articulate. I appreciated the info and feedback he gave me about what was going on down there. His coworker (I forget his name) was very helpful as well.

I have previously used this company for a large project that went over very smoothly and now I called them out for a second time with another unrelated issue and they provided fantastic service once again. Their initial estimate team of Nathan Gomez and Kevin (unfortunately didn’t catch his last name) came in and were extremely easy to work with, professional, and friendly. Their work put our mind at ease about the upcoming project and we look forward to using this companies services yet again.

I am going to do this review in sections. Alex came out and was very thorough on explaining everything and even showing me what the issue was and how they were going to mitigate it. Alex was able to have a team come out the same day to clean up the mold in the crawl space and clean all the debris out and spray chemicals to kill whatever else was down there. They left a dehumidifier and so fans to help dry everything. Another team came back 3 days later and they were awesome as well. The steam cleaned the concrete and screwed in a temporary but very secure sub floor. Overall great experience and true professionalism all around.

A family member died at home and several days passed before the body was discovered. 3 different 1st responders advised that we would need a licensed bio hazard cleaning company to address the situation and all 3 recommended Chicago Water and Fire. Even though it was after 5 on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, a real person answered the phone and promised a call back within 10 minutes. Luke did call within 10 minutes and arrived at the house within an hour, assessed the situation, retrieved the insurance information and had his crew onsite by 9:00 am the next day. It took the next 5 days for Luke and his crew to totally clean the affected areas and remove 90% or more of the odors. At every step, Luke kept me informed of the status of the work and advised us on what we could expect to be able to salvage of our furniture and personal effects. At all times he was courteous and professional, worked with my schedule, and was readily and easily available by phone or test. The results exceeded my wildest expectations and conducted in a manner that ensured insurance would cover all costs. They even moved some equipment and people around to be out of sight so the funeral could process past the home. I give Luke and his crew 5 stars plus and my strongest recommendation!

Manny & Jermaine did an outstanding job cleaning and sanitizing our basement after we had a broken sewer pipe repaired. They also removed an area rug, which they professionally handled with care. I had the pleasure of working with Randy, who came over to help me assess a basement water leak/seepage issue. Randy is exceedingly pleasant and professional and quickly helped me identify the root cause of the problem, and laid out several options for remediation. He also gave me resources to address some of the issue myself to help me save some money. Randy has been absolutely great to interact with and was very helpful with my needs. Had a broken water heater and my whole basement flooded. The PM showed up on time and made arrangements. The crew that came within 5 hours and continued the work until next day was superb. Kaylin was the crew leader and he was fantastic. Good communicator, accurate projections. Finished removing carpet (large basement), demolishing part of drywall (where there was insulation), clean up the basement in less than 24 hours. Fans and humidifiers are drying off the basement now. Everyone at the company was professional and pleasant. There was a clear understanding of what the procedure was going to be to clean up my basement after a clogged pipe from the toilet caused sewage and waste to back up in my basement. I had a very positive experience with CWF restoration. In the middle of the night, my sump pump failed and I woke up to 100’s of gallons of water in the basement of my new house. The previous owner had everything propped up on 4 x 4 wood blocks that just soaked up the water like a sponge. I went to the store and grabbed the utility pump and was able to get much of the water out but everything was soaking wet. I called CWF and Randy showed up later that same morning to survey the damage. He spoke with his manager Charlie and they sent a restoration technician within a few hours. Nate showed up and got everything set up and running the same day. It started to dry out and feel a bit like Arizona in my basement. I appreciate the promptness and professionalism of all three of these guys. They knew I was in big trouble and they went the extra mile to help me out. Thanks again!!

Chicago Water & Fire did an outstanding job of drying and restoring my floors after a pipe burst - I highly recommend hiring them! I'm so glad my plumber referred them. They came out right away to begin the drying process, and the mitigation manager, Brett, answered all my questions clearly, and gave me great advice regarding my insurance. The 2nd part - the restoration process - was a bit complicated because of my specific situation, and the restoration manager, Piotr, did a truly outstanding job of keeping me informed every step of the way, and hearing and resolving every one of my concerns calmly and patiently. We’ve had two floods in seven days. A pipe burst then six days later, our sump pump stopped working due to over exertion from the first flooding. After working with a plumber first, he recommended Chicago Water and Fire Restoration and we couldn’t be more pleased. Our project managers, Brayden and Kevin, acted quickly and were over in a short time to assess the damage and help us with insurance steps. They took the time to answer our questions, explain next steps and get a clean up crew to our house fast. Communication has been great as well as their professionalism. The clean up crew on both occasions worked for at least four plus hours getting rid of water, taking out drywall, baseboards and flooring as well as moving our belongings to a safer location in the house. They work hard and quickly to take care of what needs to be done. I highly recommend this company. They explained in detail what they were doing, asked if i had any questions and answered all questions. they made me feel really comfortable and they were so easy to talk to. I dont usually find this with a lot of contractors. They cleaned up really well before they left and made sure it was to my specification as i have a disability and they were very empathetic to my needs. I would recommend them to everyone. CWF responded to my emergency within two hours, determined their scope of work based on the severe flooding that occurred in my house, assembled a crew, and had the wet drywall and carpet removed with fans drying the space by midnight of the same day. I'm very grateful for their hard work, urgency, and dedication. They were incredibly nice and professional. Hopefully I won't need to use them again, but if an emergency happens, they will be my mitigator; they should be yours also.

The technician that did the mitigation work was so professional in every way. Can’t express enough how wonderful our experiences with CWAFR has been. Our PM Piotr K. Made us feel at ease during our reconstruction project. He maintained contact, was happily available to answer questions when we needed and was patient, helpful and efficient with the minor issues that occurred. They were so great during a really stressful moment. A pipe burst leaving us with an inch of water in our basement. So many people were in the same predicament. When I called another company it would have been 2+ weeks before they could come. I spoke with Adriana and she had Jacob evaluating the damage that same day (Friday). Jose and his remediation team were in on Tuesday with a ton of equipment to dry out the walls, floors and ceilings. As promised, Edgar and his team came right on time on Saturday to evaluate for dryness and removed all of the equipment. Everyone was so nice, on time, and very sympathetic. I am very impressed on how quickly Chicago Water & Fire Restoration get things done. They were here to evaluate water damage and within 24 hours, they were here. They are very professional and do a great job explaining what is wrong and how they will restore. I am very happy with the work they have done!

Dionte and Eduardo helped set up a drying system throughout our unit after we had leaks from the unit above. They were respectful, efficient and clean throughout the entire process. Nathan was also a great PM that helped walk us through the process and ensured everything was taken care of quickly. Would highly recommend to anyone else.

The Chicago Water & Fire Restoration Team did an outstanding job with my bathroom floor mitigation and restoration after a leak which had traveled all the way from my upstairs bathroom to my downstairs kitchen. Casey M. and Louis V. installed new travertine tile in the bathroom and painted the bathroom, which looks amazing. I was really impressed with the work and attention to detail that Casey and Louis put into the job. They, along with the rest of the CWAFR team members also did a great job fixing the drywall and painting the ceiling in our kitchen/living room/hallway. Piotr K was the project manager, and he did a great job as well. Piotr was extremely straightforward, polite, and courteous, and came to check-in each day. I am really pleased with the CWAFR team and their incredible and efficient work.

We had a good size leak in our home that carried three (3) floors from the master bath to the garage! Called CWF and their project manager, Brett, was on the scene quickly and was able to identify and assess where the water traveled and how to mitigate the damage. Brett was able to schedule a crew (in this case 2), for after Christmas. Their “crew” arrived at our home (on time) and started right to work. Ripped out a majority of the master bathroom floor, toilet and vanity. Had a second crew working on the family room walls and ceiling, just below the bath, and finally to the garage ceiling. Six guys on-site most of the day. They took care of the areas that needed attention and installed heaters for the ceilings, giant industrial HEPA filter to “scrub” the air and remove and airborne particles and contaminants. The clean up was very good and the on-site crew chief, Luis, had excellent communication skills and kept us informed throughout the process. You never want this to happen, and we have a long way to go before we are back in business, but Chicago Fire and Water did a great job handling the first steps. Thank you!

Travis and Paul did a great job! They explained everything they were going to do, before they did it. Great attitude, answered all questions. I enjoyed talking to Paul in particular. The big key was communication: I was able to successfully coordinate what time each day the project should start to ensure timely completion. Initially, it was an estimated a 2 day project, but turned out to be a 3 day project. Paul did mention an additional walk-through, before starting, the project might have been able to allow him to complete the project in 2 days instead of 3 days. Not withstanding, the quality of work between the painting, laying down new trim, and laying down new tile, in addition to Travis procuring a new tile design I really liked ahead of time was of such a quality that it more than outweighed the additional day of work required.

Randy Boucher was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond with our inspection. He made us feel confident in what he was saying to us about our crawl space and it's state. I would high recommend CWF Restoration and would highly recommend to request Randy for your inspection/estimate. Great service over the phone as well in the main office! I called at 12pm and were able to schedule me in the same day!

Chicago water and Fire restoration are awesome! Nate, Ramiro N. And Christian B were very efficient and did great work removing the mold in the floor, some kitchen cabinets, and the ceiling below the water leak. They were also very clean and so easy to work with. Travis M was project manager for my kitchen rebuild and he was amazing to work with and always responded to my questions in a timely matter. I’m so happy with how everything turned out and the work was completed quickly. I can’t recommend Chicago water and fire restoration enough!

CWF was quick to arrive and assess the water damage that occurred in my house. They quickly did their due diligence and explained each of the steps of mitigation. John and Kris showed up shortly after to mitigate the damage and set up equipment to thoroughly dry the area. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We’ve had two basement floods in less than a year and the team over at Chicago Water & Fire Restoration made difficult situations as palpable as possible. Their lead estimator, Charlie, was professional and very easy to work with. The water remediation was efficient and effective. When we had to call upon their services again, they were sympathetic and had someone on-site that same day. No one wants to be in this situation but what makes going through something so formative is the professional assurance and capability of a strong team. The gentlemen who responded to my situation did so the same day they were contacted. The work began the same day, also. All of them were kind, polite, pleasant & professional. All my questions were politely explained in detail & I never felt condescended to or judged. Though the restoration process has just begun, this company states they will totally complete it. This is very reassuring as I have no knowledge of this detailed process. I feel quite confident in CWF & recommend them to anyone in need of similar services. Even the young lady who answers the company phone was very pleasant & professional! Btw, this company was recommended by the plumber I initially called to fix a leaking toilet. I would not have known who to ask for the additional help required for this situation.

Colin was spectacular! I gave the scheduler a specific time, however, they called to tell me Colin was at my house which turned out to be 1 hour earlier that I anticipated. Colin actually waited the 30 for me to get home. He was very professional, explained the process, read the information to me that I needed to sign and explained next steps. I felt very comfortable with him. Also, Edgar and Angelo, the gentlemen that came to my house that brought the equipment, they were very friendly and I felt comfortable leaving them in my home. Unfortunately this is the third time we’ve had to use CWF but we’ve had a good experience every time. They are expensive but do a good job. I have to say this was my best experience yet and felt really good with Collin leading the way. Ramiro and Christian were awesome and took their time with the flooring and cleaning. Hopefully I’m done for a while in terms of needing their mitigation services but if I do will not hesitate to call.

Great service! We used them when a toilet and shower leaked in to two rooms below. The team was great with communication and timely for arrivals. The work looks great and they were meticulous about making sure everything around the area stayed clean and in place. Highly recommend using them!

The unit above mine started leaking and damaged the drywall throughout the ceiling of my condo. The plumber that fixed the issue recommended CW&FR. They came to my place at 1030 pm to provide an estimate and then scheduled water mitigation the following morning. The crew that came over was friendly and efficient. They took the time to explain and answer any of the questions that I have. Extremely professional, I'd highly recommend CW&FR to anyone that finds themselves in a similar situation.

I called CWF Restoration and within 1 hour Avery was at my door to assess the water cleanup needed in my crawlspace. He was able to have a team at my home in less than1.5 hours, and it was not even an emergency situation. I am unable to enter the crawlspace so I have to depend on others to take care of any issues. Edgar and Justin arrived, got to work and were able to finish within an hour. They even took care of a stain that I did not expect. I am very happy with the outcome, everyone was very pleasant and professional, and the crawlspace looks new. My brother came by to see the space and was most impressed! Our sump pump failed the day before our vacation and flooded our basement. Charlie Fleischacker (estimator) came out the same day and did a great job not only assessing the damage but also in giving us a clear picture of our options. I am so please with this company and the service. They assessed my issue and came up with a solution in less than 24 hours. Repairs were done in a professional and timely manner. Gil and Rickey were both friendly and professional. They made me feel comfortable about the issue and were super quick and efficient at getting it done. I really appreciated the team work and them making sure that they cleaned whatever mess they may have made. Great workers for sure. Totally recommend!!!!

Thus far. They have done a great job. Came out the same day I called. Some employees were there the following day to clean and get rid of damaged items. When they came back to pick up equipment. They were early. Love that. They have kept me updated on the status of my claim. I would recommend them. They will also restore my home back to its useful state.

We had an issue with our shower on the second floor and needed immediate attention. CWF was amazingly helpful, courteous and prompt. They assessed the situation quickly and took action just as fast. James Coleman, our project manager, was a Godsend, he took control of the situation, answered all of our numerous questions and took the time to explain each and every step that they were taking to mitigate the water. From the hours he spent in our home and the multiple phone calls to keep us as up to date as possible as to how things were progressing, he is truly a top-notch professional. As for the actual equipment placement, Pedro and Alfredo were amazing as well. They spent hours working to make sure everything was safe and clean and done properly. They took care to protect my home while they were working and were kind and respectful. The communication skills for this company are to be commended!

Following a particularly challenging time with a sewer pipe break, Nathan Gomez evaluated our basement within hours of my call. He explained the process in detail, and was very reassuring. His crew, Pedro and Alfredo, arrived immediately the next day and worked diligently and professionally to thoroughly resolve the issues in our basement. They were kind and understanding, very patient, and even noticed a separate pipe issue the plumbers had overlooked. I would highly recommend them to anyone in a difficult situation!

I cannot recommend this business enough. They have come out to our home multiple times for various issues and I was really impressed by their punctuality, availability, professionalism, and competence. They recently came out because we discovered some insulation in a basement storage space that was disturbed and soiled by mice. The project manager inspected it and gave me a really fair deal to remove the insulation and clean up and sanitize the area. Thank you all so much for being incredibly fair and showing that the well being of your customers is more important than money. I can’t say enough how wonderful Chicago Water and Fire is. I was referred to them by my plumber when I had a broken shower valve that flooded water within our walls/drywall. From the receptionists who helped me, Scott who came out to see my house and the person who did our dehumidifier setup (I forgot his name but he was awesome) everyone has been lovely and amazing to work with. I loved how thorough all the staff from the person who worked on our house and the estimator/investigator Scott. The found water in places I had no idea even happened from our leaky valve. I’d recommend this company to everyone. They do great work, the dehumidification was successful and we’re looking forward to them helping us with our drywall/restoring our walls.

They cleaned after my guest room flooded from a pipe clog in a condo above mine. I’m a new homeowner and was super nervous and unsure how the whole thing worked. Chicago water and fire dealt directly with my insurance and made the whole thing very easy. They did a great job for the exact amount they estimated. My call was responded and a representative was here within 2 hours. Jesse was knowledgeable and professional. He was well mannered and pleasant. We set up a work appointment for 2 days later. The crew was cautious and provided covering for my hardwood. They were diligent and respectful. They left my home clean and did not leave any debris behind. Vacuumed and sanitized the floor too.

From the initial call to CFW to the end, I couldn't be happier with the service we received. We had a leak in our 2nd floor master shower. We knew it because the drywall on the ceiling in our kitchen underneath it started to crack. Our plumber recommended CWF and Gil, their estimator showed up within a few hours. He was great and set up an appointment for the drying equipment to be delivered early the next morning. The technicians who brought it and set it up were just as nice, careful and helpful as Gil. They stopped back 3 days later and determined that the fans needed to stay for 2 more days. This morning 2 different guys came, tested the floor, determined that the moisture was gone and took the fans away. The 5 days of noise was worth it to know that CFW had done their job! I give them 5 stars and highly recommend CFW!!

Can’t rate this enough. The very first day I moved into my apartment we found the kitchen sink overflowing with black liquid all over the apartment. It was an incredibly stressful day that was put it ease by Dave who came and inspected the situation that night. He is not only good at his job but his customer service was excellent. The cleaning crew came the next day and set up and finished in under 40 minutes. Cannot thank this crew enough for saving the day!!

We had a toilet ring leak which ruined 3 floors of our house. Company came and cleaned up the water leak quickly and promptly...although there was still a bit of residual leak, they took care of it. Peter, our manager on the restoration side of things laid out our options very nicely from the beginning, and had great communication with us throughout the process. Restoration guys Casey M and Tony R came to upgrade our bathroom and do drywall and painting work. They arrived promptly and on time every day and cleaned up thoroughly every evening. They finished on time exactly as planned as well. Tony R did the dining room drywall and paint and it looks SOLID like there never was a hole at all! And Casey M worked on the bathroom upstairs which looks incredible as well. They even moved our heavy new vanity up our stairs (which wasn't easy and took extra hands on deck, including our project manager as well as another guy…and they got it done!). We were very thankful they were willing to put that in! Everything looks amazing and we are thankful to have worked with this company.
